After looking around for a few weeks the best deal I ended up finding was a really
good deal on eBay. All you have to do is register with the eBay and it‘s free to do so. You just have to
be careful not to get caught up in the whole auction thing. It is possible to get caught up in the excitement of
the auction and over bid on an item. One thing you should keep in mind through, there’s always more auctions
coming, and if you take the time you will get a great deal. Lots of times you will find the that you can even
get free shipping, which will also save money.
I found myself being quite excited the day that UPS delivered my fly-rod. Up until
that point I was kind of like a little kid waiting for Christmas, so I could open up my presents. It all went well,
it was delivered on time and in good shape. I forgot to mention you can also get some great money saving deals on
pre-owned fly-rods and reels. You just need to check on Ebay every day because the auctions can change
daily.
I spent a few days out in the back yard and practiced with the fly-rod. I got
really good at casting in the yard, but it’s one thing in the yard and another out on the stream. So I moved my
practice to a local stream.
After a few fishing trips to the stream, and lots of flies lost up in the trees,
and the surrounding bushes, I started to get the hang of this fly-fishing. I have to admit there’s just something
about landing a beautiful speckle trout on a fly rod in the early morning or late evening that will give you
memories for years to come. Just to see a brook trout rising up and then sucking in your fly can really get your
heart pounding. So I would suggest to anyone it’s worth the hassle to learn to use a fly rod, which will give you
years of enjoyment.
